Common considerations when purchasing a home…

Every buyer has their list of needs and wants. You should figure out what is absolutely required, nice to have, and anything that is a must not have. Work with your agent who can prescreen homes and limit the number of properties to see. Be sure your agent sets up a search that filters the properties to your criteria and sends them to you at a frequency you are comfortable with.

  1. What city area or zip code?

  2. How far from beach, school, work or airport?

  3. What is the asking price of the home?

  4. How many bedrooms and bathrooms does the home have?

  5. What is the square footage of the home?

  6. Number of levels?

  7. Handicap access?

  8. Number of garage spaces?

  9. Pool or jacuzzi?

  10. Solar panels, owned or leased?

  12. City easements and homeowners’ responsibilities?

  13. How old is the home and what is its history?
